The Australian company Global-Mark visits Dongguan SLG-CPC

On September 20, 2024, Mr. Peter Karuga and Mr. Patrick Gray from Australia’s Global-Mark company visited Dongguan SLG-CPC once again. As longtime friends, this visit felt more like a warm reunion. The strong collaboration between both parties is rooted in mutual trust in each others professional capabilities, with a shared philosophy and responsibility to provide customers with more professional and efficient certification services.

During the visit, Mr. Karuga and Mr. Gray expressed their high regard for the professional facilities and working environment at Dongguan SLG-CPCs laboratory. They reaffirmed our team’s professional skills and service quality, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

Later, at the Australian Standards Update Seminar, they shared the latest information regarding Australia’s electrical certification system, along with the newest regulations and standards for related products. Our engineers posed questions about specific details and implementations of the standards, and they provided comprehensive answers.

Key points from the standards update include:

The AS/NZS 60598.1:2024 is expected to be released this year, with a two-year transition period before mandatory implementation.

AS/NZS 62560 will be updated to version A3, revising the scope to cover products from 50 to 1000V and accepting all lamp holders compliant with IEC 60061.

Through this in-depth exchange, SLG-CPC Inspection can better understand the latest standards and regulatory dynamics in the Australian market. This enables us to offer more forward-looking and efficient certification services, helping businesses adapt smoothly to international market requirements. Our long-term cooperation with Global-Mark not only strengthens our connection in the certification field but also supports an increasing number of Chinese products entering international markets such as Australia and New Zealand.

Looking ahead, Dongguan SLG-CPC will continue to maintain close cooperation with Global-Mark. Through our joint efforts, we aim to provide high-quality certification and testing services to more clients. We believe that based on our years of trust and friendship, our cooperation will deepen, helping businesses steadily advance in the global market.
